Sr. Mobile Engineer (Flutter)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable Flutter mobile applications across iOS and Android.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and translate designs into functional user interfaces.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize application performance, identify and fix bugs, and ensure application stability and reliability.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Flutter, mobile development technologies, and industry best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and codebase.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other engineers.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in mobile development with a strong focus on Flutter (minimum 2 years).
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, design patterns, and best practices in mobile app development.
• Expertise in Dart programming language and the Flutter framework.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing user-friendly and intuitive mobile interfaces.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and other quality assurance methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Professional proficiency in German (written and spoken).

Bonus Points

• Experience with enterprise SaaS products and B2B applications.
• Familiarity with FastAPI or other Python-based web frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Contributions to open-source Flutter projects.
